Apex Supply Chain Technologies unveiled a new company—Apex Order Pickup Solutions, which will focus on the offering of contactless order pickup solutions for the foodservice and retail industries, giving consumers the fast, efficient options they prefer.
“We’re completely focused on innovative, contactless order pickup technologies for foodservice and retail operators,” says Mike Wills, Apex CEO. “We know these industries are looking for an option that offers convenience for customers, along with labor savings and data insights to improve planning and efficiency. We are bringing them a tested order pickup solution they can count on as their businesses evolve.”
Apex Order Pickup Solutions’ products include a variety of food and retail pickup lockers that can be configured to meet any operator’s needs. The lockers can be integrated into a brand’s existing digital ecosystem, providing deeper data and analytics to improve planning.
“We know contactless pickup will continue to grow in 2021,” Wills says. “We will continue to develop our solutions to meet the changing demands of the retail and foodservice markets.”
Apex has built strong connections across the industry to prepare for this launch. In late 2020, the company licensed leading restaurant equipment powerhouse Welbilt, Inc. (NYSE: WBT) to manufacture and globally distribute our Flow-Thru 10,000 Series lockers. Apex also recently acquired technology from Brightloom, (formerly Eatsa) for future development opportunities. Apex’s APIs provide easy integrations with leading POS, KDS, kiosk, loyalty order aggregators, and third-party delivery services.
“We’re very excited about these partnerships and others that come in the future as we press forward in our commitment to be the market leader in the order pickup space,” Wills adds. “Like our recently announced global licensing partnership with Welbilt, look for additional partnerships being formed and finalized in the coming weeks all with an effort to create innovative and affordable contactless order delivery and pickup solutions.”
Apex solutions are currently being used in over 5,000 restaurants, universities, ghost kitchens, hospitals, sports and entertainment venues and retail stores globally to facilitate contactless order pickup.
Apex Order Pickup Solutions recently launched a new website to showcase its product line and provide updates: ApexOrderPickup.com. The company will participate in the upcoming virtual NRF Big Show: Chapter 1, showcasing its latest innovations and answering questions.
