Arby’s has announced it will expand its national partnership of Big Brothers Big Sisters to support the youth mentoring organization’s 100th anniversary during 2004. In honor of Big Brothers Big Sisters centennial celebration, Arby’s will launch national and local campaigns to help increase awareness of Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs as well as raise funds to help move the organization closer to its goal of servicing one million at-risk children by 2010.
Arby’s is the largest corporate sponsor of Big Brothers Big Sisters and, with the Arby’s Foundation, has donated more than $11 million to the organization during the past 18 years.
Arby’s restaurants will participate in a National Reunion program, which will enable Big Brothers Big Sisters alumni of all ages to reunite through a Yahoo! web site. Arby’s restaurants will raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters through its sales from Adventure Kid’s Meals and in-store premium sales during the holiday season. In addition, many Arby’s restaurants and employees will support their local chapters through a variety of local fundraising efforts.
