Fort Lauderdale, Florida—May 22, 2002—-Just-Foods.com reported today that Arby’s, a subsidiary of the Triarc Restaurant Group, has announced a new addition to its successful Market Fresh sandwich line—the Roast Turkey, Ranch, and Bacon.

After a trial in March, the new sandwich proved popular enough for Arby’s to decide to introduce it nationwide on a more permanent basis.

Following a May 2001 launch, the fast food firm found that the deli-style sandwiches were soon generating 9-15% of its menu sales. It seems that by making a simple, comfort food like a sandwich available in drive-thrus, Arby’s has both widened its menu choice and secured access to healthier fast food consumers.

Arby’s credits its new sandwich line for several months of increased same store sales, and accordingly plans to continue developing the Market Fresh offering.
