    Aroma Joe’s Furthers Massachusetts Expansion

  • Industry News July 22, 2019

With 67 stores across five states and 19 more locations in development, Aroma Joe’s has grown its presence in New England by producing “farm-to-sip” quality coffee and unparalleled customer service. In a highly-competitive coffee-drinking market, Aroma Joe’s is announcing plans to open their fourth shop in Massachusetts. With a presence already in Leominster, Salisbury, and Haverhill, the Find Your Fuel folks will open up shop with their newest corporate-owned store in Swansea located at 755 GAR Hwy.

“We have been very fortunate with our company growth, and the time has come to bolster our presence in Massachusetts,” Aroma Joe’s CEO Loren Goodridge says. “We know there are many passionate and knowledgeable coffee drinkers across New England. We are confident folks will continue to appreciate our ‘farm-to-sip’ quality over quantity.”

Aroma Joe’s was founded in 2000 by four cousins (two sets of brothers) from Maine and began franchising in 2013. Whether it’s helping customers or franchisees, Aroma Joe’s serves positive energy by focusing daily on the customer, the community, and the cup. The company has separated itself by putting just as much emphasis on the customer experience as its products. From hand-crafted coffee, unique, infused blends, signature AJS RUSH® Energy Drinks to all-day breakfast and baked goods, this emerging franchise has been helping folks Find Your Fuel™ all across Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Besides the good vibes and great service, Aroma Joe’s is known for its “farm-to-sip” coffee experience. Unlike many of its competitors, the company has made a large-scale commitment to sourcing and using only 100 percent Rainforest Alliance Certified™ coffee, which meets rigorous environmental, social and economic standards.

Aroma Joe’s is targeting a 20-30 percent growth rate each year and looking to fill the New England market over the next three years, with the eastern seaboard next within 5-10 years. The cost of opening an Aroma Joe’s franchise, including the franchise fee and overall investment cost, is between $256,500 to $702,000. One Aroma Joe’s location is 790 square feet on average.
