As part of the company’s commitment to investing in employees, Auntie Anne’s Inc. recently awarded scholarships to six students from across the country for their outstanding achievement both in and out of the classroom. These individuals were selected for their outstanding achievements and commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom.

The recipients of the Auntie Anne’s 2014 scholarship, each receiving $5,000 include Megan Scheib from Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who is a crewmember at Lebanon Valley Mall; Sarah Hibbard from Round Rock, Texas, who is a crewmember at Round Rock Premium Outlets; Catherine Williams from Cincinnati, Ohio, who is a crewmember at Northgate Mall; Rebecca Graves from Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, who is a crewmember at Park City Center; and Eric Erb from Gap, Pennsylvania, who is the son of Auntie Anne’s corporate employee Donna Erb. Elizabeth Dunphy, from Landing, New Jersey, a crewmember at Rockaway Town Square Mall, received a $10,000 scholarship for her desire to pursue a degree related to foodservice.

“Auntie Anne’s believes in the power and value of investing in employees, and we’re proud to offer our scholarship program to help our employees achieve success,” says Beth Monaghan, chief administrative officer of Auntie Anne’s Inc.

Now in its ninth year, the scholarship program is open to Auntie Anne’s Inc. employees and their immediate families, and employees and their immediate families of Auntie Anne’s franchisees. Applicants must have completed the first semester of their senior year of high school, or been accepted or enrolled in a post-secondary program at an accredited college or university, vocational or technical school, culinary institution, or other approved place of higher learning.
