Pretzel outfit Auntie Anne’s will roll out plastic gift cards nationwide in November. Customers who purchase the Auntie Anne’s Card can dictate the value amount of the card and
re-charge it in any dollar increment they chose.
Auntie Anne’s said that while the card is designed to replace immediately the sale of paper gift certificates, all Auntie Anne’s locations will still honor paper certificates until their expiration date. Resembling the shape of a credit card,
“We see the Auntie Anne’s Card as a great gift, but we also realize that many will want to purchase cards for their own use,” said Sam Beiler, president of Auntie Anne’s. “We are becoming a cashless society, and the Auntie Anne’s Card gives our customers the payment convenience they expect.”
