People Report and sister company Black Box Intelligence announced the winners of the 2011 Best Practices awards, presented in front of 250 restaurant executives at the annual Best Practices Conference. The winners represent best in class for their human capital practices in their segment in the dining industry. The winners are McDonald’s, Eat’n Park Restaurants, Logan’s Roadhouse, and The Cheesecake Factory.
The Catalyst award, which is given to the People Report member that outpaces the industry norms and significantly improves performance in people practices over the prior year, was presented to Chili’s Grill & Bar.
The Heart of the Workplace award is presented to the company that shows exemplary practices in community engagement and corporate responsibility. It was presented to Darden Restaurants.
The winners have risen to the top of a very competitive field that represents more than 100 companies who track, analyze and benchmark their human capital data with People Report. The annual award is given to a company from each segment that shows best people practices in relation to turnover, hourly and management retention, workplace diversity, community engagement, and corporate responsibility.
