Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina introduces its newest menu item, customizable Lettuce Wraps, at restaurants nationwide this week. Fresh romaine leaves offer guests another low-carb entrée option for their favorite ingredients.

“Flavor is everything at Barberitos. With warmer months ahead, we want to offer our customers a fresh, tasty option with low carbs and big flavor. You’ll find that in the Lettuce Wraps,” says Downing Barber, founder of Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina. “The Lettuce Wraps pair impeccably with some of our other favorite summer options like our limited-time offering of Mango Salsa.”

Like all Barberitos menu offerings, the Lettuce Wraps are customizable including a base of choice of protein from chargrilled steak and chicken to vegetarian options like tofu, with the addition of more than 20 topping options, served with romaine leaves for wrapping.

Another menu item is being added to the Barberitos menu nationwide this week, Mango Salsa, a limited-time offering that originally debuted on May 11, 2012. Mangos mixed with Barberitos’ farm fresh vegetable blend offer guests a sweet summer treat that’s perfect to eat alone or add to any menu item.

Both limited-time menu options, the Lettuce Wraps will be available to summer 2016 and Mango Salsa will be available through September 2016.
