Barberitos Franchising Inc. announced exponential sales growth for the year 2014. Barberitos has experienced its best year for sales growth in the history of the company. In the year of 2014, the company saw sales increase to 27.14 percent increase from 2013 and signed numerous licensee agreements bringing the franchise total to 57 units.

“We have been working hard this year to take the Barberitos brand to new heights. I am very proud to see the hard work and dedication of our team and licensees pay off in such a big way. We have great things planned for 2015 and are setting our sights on the 100 store mark by the end of the year.” says Downing Barber, founder.

Barberitos same-store sales also finished the year strong with a 12.06 percent increase in sales from 2013 — a jump of 5 percent from the previous year’s sales.

Barberitos’ food mission is to serve fresh, natural, hormone-free products that can be customized for each order. Barberitos offers 32 farm-fresh ingredients each day for customers to order in the form of a burrito, taco, salad, nachos, or burrito bowl.

The chain offers a gluten-free menu, seven meals under seven grams of fat menu, and prepares all its vegetables vegan-style: with no added fats or animal products.

In 2014, Barberitos was voted “Athens Best Burrito” for the 12th straight year. The chain was also featured in Quick Serve Restaurant’s July 2014 issue “Best Franchise Deals,” and was picked as one of four “Rising Stars” on the horizon in the fast-casual sector.
