Beautiful Brands International (BBI) announced today the addition of Dallas, Texas-based restaurant Greenz to its portfolio of restaurants to market and franchise worldwide. This is the second recent addition for BBI, which purchased The Crusty Croissant on March 6.

“Greenz is an innovative fast-casual salad concept that serves guests amazing salads in a refreshing atmosphere,” said David Rutkauskas, BBI Founder, President and CEO. “Its solid business model and franchising potential makes Greenz the perfect addition to our portfolio of Beautiful Brands to market across the globe.”

The agreement between Casie Caldwell, owner of Greenz, and Beautiful Brands International will utilize BBI’s organizational and support system to market and franchise the brand on a national and global scale. BBI’s support will include product development, marketing, real estate, architecture, legal, franchise sales, and other aspects of franchise development.

Greenz will be positioned as a fast casual salad concept, with lower start-up costs than many of its competitors, and with an average ticket of $11.

Founded in Dallas in 2004, today Greenz has grown to a three unit chain and has received positive response from the Dallas area along with rave reviews for its culinary creations in the salad segment. With over 15 years experience as a marketer and entrepreneur, Casie Caldwell has created a unique menu featuring a variety of chef-inspired, mouth-watering salad creations that are typically found in fine dining restaurants. The menu also includes the freshest salad ingredients available, wraps, sandwiches, and soups.

Greenz is one of seven concepts marketed and franchised by Beautiful Brands International. BBI was founded under the leadership of David and Camille Rutkauskas and is responsible for the launch of worldwide, franchised brands including Camille’s Sidewalk Café, Coney Beach, Rex’s Chicken, FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Café, and Dixie Cream Donuts.
