Beehive Kitchen, the innovative, fast-casual restaurant known for its flavorful selections of fresh ingredients served in bowls, announced its second location at 200 East Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale will debut on Monday, September 25.

Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Beehive Kitchen will maintain the same warm, hospitable environment with contemporary décor, using the best culinary techniques to serve its signature menu of gluten-friendly, antibiotic-free and hormone-free items, with two new additions to the menu: organic cold brew coffee and tofu.

“We quickly realized the popularity of the first Beehive Kitchen and are thrilled to expand into such a dynamic area of South Florida,” says Jason Grasty, concept chef at Beehive Kitchen. “We are proud to continue to fulfill our mission of serving only the freshest, most wholesome ingredients to our guests, no freezers or fryers.”

Beehive Kitchen’s guests begin by choosing a base ingredient from the artfully-inspired menu, such as lemon basil quinoa or sweet potato glass noodles, complemented with savory vegetables like wok-seared mushrooms and lean, hormone, and antibiotic-free proteins such as ahi tuna poke, barbeque pork, rustic herb grilled chicken, soy marinated steak, baked almond crusted chicken or sesame citrus tofu. Topping it off is a flavorful selection of homemade sauces. Fresh, cold-pressed juices are prepared in-house every day from raw fruit and vegetables such as the Miami Vice, which consists of juicy pineapples, green apples, strawberries, oranges and tangy ginger. Dessert offerings include the popular Cake Jars, such as honey cake with spiced pecans and sweet buttercream or chocolate cake with honey buttercream available in individually-sized portions. A locally brewed Funky Buddha beer is also available on tap.

The buzz on Beehive Kitchen is growing as its catering is making life deliciously easy for groups as small as five and as big as hundreds with create-your-own bowl spreads of feel-good food that will definitely impress. Online ordering is available for individual take-out on Beehive Kitchen’s website.

In addition to the Las Olas and Cypress Creek locations, a third Beehive Kitchen restaurant is planned to open in Coral Springs. Beehive Kitchen is the latest restaurant concept from the Centurion Restaurant Group, which owns and operates a family of popular restaurants throughout South Florida including Bulla Gastrobar, a Spanish-inspired tapas restaurant; and Pisco y Nazca, a ceviche gastrobar specializing in Peruvian cuisine.
