Unilever (London:ULVR.L) subsidiary Ben & Jerry’s plans to make further employee cuts, the second round of layoffs for the ice cream chain this year.
According to Reuters, the company announced it would cut 52 jobs, or 6% of its workforce. The previous move resulted in the loss of 69 jobs.
President and CEO Yves Couette said in a statement the cuts were necessary to insure the long term outlook of the company.
