From humble Amish beginnings to leveraging the power of mobile marketing, Ben’s Soft Pretzels, America’s fastest growing pretzel franchise has launched its first free mobile application, available to users on Apple and Android devices in the App and Google Play stores. To celebrate the launch, customers who download the new Ben’s Soft Pretzels app before August 31 will receive a coupon to redeem a free jumbo soft pretzel at any Ben’s Soft Pretzels location.

Ben’s Soft Pretzels’ new mobile app gives guests more ways to engage with the brand. Users are able to locate their nearest bakery, take advantage of special deals and coupons, send a gift card to a friend, and earn a 6 percent loyalty rewards based on bakery visits and purchases.

“We couldn’t be more excited for the launch of our first mobile application,” says Brian Krider, COO and co-founder of Ben’s Soft Pretzels. “One of the best parts about being in this business is the ability to connect with our guests through our product. Now with the addition of our mobile app, we can foster those connections outside of the bakery and show our gratitude through the reward program.”

The launch of Ben’s Soft Pretzels mobile app comes off the heels of the company’s third annual National Pretzel Day fundraiser. On April 26, National Pretzel Day, pretzel lovers across the country gathered at Ben’s Soft Pretzels to redeem a free pretzel in exchange for a $1 donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF). The soft pretzel bakery rounded out the pretzel holiday with 23,000 free pretzels distributed and raised more than $24,000 for the organization in a single day.

There are currently 84 Ben’s Soft Pretzels bakery location in eight states. Ben's Soft Pretzels master lease and license agreement with retail giants, WalMart and Meijer, allow for franchise partners to open bakeries in high-traffic areas. Looking ahead, the company is expecting to add 50 locations to the system in 2017.
