Olson Communications is proud to announce that the b.good family foundation in Portland, Maine, is the 2015 Chefs of Tomorrow recipient. Sharon Olson, founder and president of Chicago-based Olson Communications, presented the award on November 3 at the Portland, Maine, location during the International Foodservice Editorial Council Conference.

The Chefs of Tomorrow program was launched by Olson Communications in 2008.  Since its inception, the program has awarded over $25,000 to notable chefs and culinary educators throughout the U.S. Award recipients have been honored for their ability to make a difference and inspire the next generation of chefs.

"The b.good family foundation exemplifies everything we look for in a recipient. A passion for consistently supporting the local community and providing funds to people with great ideas to do good," says Sharon Olson, president of Olson Communications.

From the beginning, b.good always hoped their restaurant business could be something that made their communities a little better. The mission of the b.good family foundation is to use micro-grants to help inspired individuals improve their communities. The b.good family foundation is in its fourth year and has had the opportunity to provide funds to individuals with a passion for making their communities better.
