Biggby Ranked Best Coffee Franchise to Own

Biggby Coffee continues to gain steam (pun intended) and generate national attention for being named by Franchise Business Review (FBR) as number 7 in the Top Food Franchises to own nationally. Biggby is the top and only coffee franchise ranked on the overall Food Franchise list. The ranking comes at a time that the company continues to grow and set big franchise goals for 2015.

Franchise Business Review collects reports gathered through feedback from current franchise owners, which help define the satisfaction of owning a franchise and the overall health of the franchise system. Trends, concepts, and franchise models are reviewed to help decide rankings. Involvement from an investment and financial standpoint, and how franchisee satisfaction has fared in the past year, are also taken into consideration. The report, based on more than 4,000 surveys from franchisees in the food sector, and representing more than 100 brands and more than 18,000 franchised businesses, ranks Biggby as the only coffee concept listed in the top 40.

System wide, Biggby Coffee has seen double-digit growth for more than 20 consecutive quarters. Couple that growth with the recent 50 percent reduction in franchise fees, plus lowering the overall store build-out and initial opening investment by 40 percent, and it is easier for current franchisees and potential franchisees open stores. In 2014, 50 percent of the stores signed in 2014 were to existing franchisees, showing the health of the organization.
