The Whole Foods Market in Tamarac, Denver, is about to get a kick from the other side of the globe.

On Wednesday, Biju’s Little Curry Shop will bring the bold, fresh-made flavors of Southern India to the Whole Foods located at 7400 E. Hampden Avenue in Denver. It will be the second Little Curry Shop to open in a Whole Foods Market, and the fourth overall.

“Sharing our original South Indian-inspired recipes with Whole Foods guests is a dream come true for me,” says Biju Thomas, owner of Biju’s Little Curry Shop. “Our lighter fare is unique, it’s healthy and it’s perfect for on-the-go people who want to feel great after they eat.”

The restaurant offers a straightforward menu where guests pick from chicken, beef or veggies to build a bowl of curried rice, chopped fresh greens or a Masala “Dosa” Waffle—all in a fast-casual format. Layering on options like fresh coconut sautéed seasonal veggies, curried lentils, and spicy chutneys. Guests can choose the degree of spiciness they take on.

“Long-time fans of Indian food enjoy our authentic flavors, while those who are new to the cuisine or aren’t sure what to order appreciate the simple menu with easy options,” says Thomas. “Whether you choose to add meat or keep it vegan, the Little Curry Shop satisfies your cravings for big flavor.”

Already a loyal customer of an existing Little Curry Shop? You’ll still want to stop by during opening week, when the new Whole Foods location will be offering samples of the restaurant’s newest menu item: Masala “Dosa” Waffles. Dosa waffles are the restaurant’s take on thin crepes made from fermented rice and lentil batter. The dish will be served with traditional vegan sambar, spiced potatoes and coconut chutney, or used as a base for any of the chicken or beef curries.

“I’ve been a big fan of the Little Curry Shop ever since I visited their original location in RiNo,” says Heather Larrabee, executive marketing coordinator with Whole Foods Market. “We opened a storefront in our Boulder store about a year ago, and it was an instant hit. I have no doubt our customers in Tamarac will rave about it, too.”

The newest Little Curry Shop will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
