    Billy Sims BBQ Makes Wisconsin Debut

    Billy Sims BBQ is heading north. Its first restaurant in Wisconsin opened November 11 at 1442 West Washington Street in West Bend. Co-founder Billy Sims, Heisman Trophy Winner and Star NFL running back, will be on hand to meet guests and sign autographs on November 15 and 16.

    Billy Sims BBQ offers Southern-style barbecue smoked in-house daily over pecan wood. A selection of tender brisket, meaty St. Louis cut ribs, pulled pork, chicken, turkey and traditional sides fill the menu.

    “It’s truly a celebration of good food and good football in a fun, family-oriented atmosphere – a place to kick back and enjoy yourself,” says Sims. “Once people try our unique, mouthwatering, pecan-smoked meats, they will become loyal fans.”

    To kick off the grand opening celebration, Sims will meet guests and sign autographs at the West Bend location on Friday, November 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. and at 1:30 on Friday, Billy Sims speak with the West Bend East and West High School’s football teams. He will be back in the restaurant on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.  There will also be giveaways during the official Grand Opening Celebration.

    “We are tremendously excited to introduce real barbecue to Wisconsin,” says Jeff Jackson, co-founder and CEO of Billy Sims BBQ.  “The brand is seeing tremendous success in the middle south and we look forward to providing award-winning barbecue, stacked sandwiches and delicious sides to a new market.”
