Blast & Brew, a Neapolitan pizza franchise concept that serves artisanal quick-fired pizzas and allows guests to customize their dining experience with a signature craft beer wall with more than 40 taps of self-pour brews, has signed a franchise agreement that will bring the brand’s first location to Arizona.
The location will be owned and operated by seasoned entrepreneurs and local business partners Parish and Sunil Patel, who have experience in the quick-serve franchise restaurant and motel industries working with brands like Quiznos, Choice Hotels and Wyndham Hotels. The Patel’s first Blast & Brew restaurant in Phoenix is part of a greater growth plan to expand the brand’s presence in Arizona. The franchise area development agreement calls for three Blast & Brew restaurants within the next three years with the potential for further expansion in the future.
Blast & Brew is a division of parent company Milano Restaurants International, which has over 50 years of experience serving award-winning pizza and menu items. The Blast & Brew experience starts with fresh, hand-stretched dough that serves as a base for pizzas and split-focaccia sandwiches that guests customize with more than 40 locally sourced and regionally-tailored ingredients and house-made sauces, before the masterpiece is baked at 825 degrees. Blast & Brew also offers a variety of fresh salads and hearty appetizers, like Harris Beef and Bleu Cheese Sliders and a Crispy Brie Crostini served with honey and a balsamic glaze.
“We were immediately attracted to the Blast & Brew concept after learning about the business model. What sealed the deal for us, though, was that first bite of pizza—it is evident that the company has spent over 50 years perfecting its recipes,” says Parish Patel. “With Phoenix’s promising economic climate and lively, bustling streets, we truly believe that Blast & Brew’s second-to-none dining experience will be a perfect fit.”
In addition to customizable food options, Blast & Brew “Beer Geniuses” guide guests through the beer selection process, helping them to choose a draft that will complement their meal perfectly. The restaurant has more than 40 rotating local and regional craft options along a beer wall that guests can pour themselves through a pre-paid program.
“We are thrilled to see that entrepreneurs are taking note of our customer-centric business model and are eager to join our team,” says Mike Reynolds, Chief Development Officer of Blast & Brew’s parent company, Milano Restaurants International. “Parish and Sunil bring a strong understanding of the service and franchising spaces, making them a perfect fit to expand our presence into Phoenix.”
