To generate excitement for the 2010 New Zealand kiwifruit season, ZESPRI launched The Great Kiwi Adventure consumer sweepstakes yesterday. To jumpstart consumer awareness of the contest, ZESPRI has added a Kiwi A-Go-Go blogger competition to its promotion mix. Kiwi A-Go-Go challenges bloggers to creatively showcase kiwis (the fruit or the country) and the ZESPRI consumer sweepstakes on their blogs.
The sweepstakes offers two grand prizes of a trip for four to New Zealand ($10,000 value) – one earmarked for consumers, and the other for the much smaller pool of bloggers. Both contests run throughout the ZESPRI season, from May 17 through October 31. Blogger posts will be evaluated monthly, with judges selecting the winner from six semi-finalists in early November.
