Bob Evans Farms announced Friday the calling hours and memorial arrangements for Company Founder Bob Evans. Calling hours will be today, June 25, 2007, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Bob Evans Farms Hall at the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio. The funeral service will be held at the Paul R. Lyne Center at the University of Rio Grande, tomorrow, June 26, at 1 p.m., followed by a private burial. An additional memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Ohio State University’s Mershon Auditorium, 1871 N. High St., in Columbus, Ohio. Limited seating is available at all services.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made to the Bob Evans Memorial Fund for Scholarships, payable to the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, P.O. Box 457 Nelsonville, Ohio, 45764. Sympathy cards for Jewell Evans and family can be mailed to the Bob Evans Farms Corporate Office, 3776 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio, 43207.

Bob Evans died Thursday, June 21, 2007, from complications of pneumonia at 12:30 p.m., at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Bob Evans retired as president of Bob Evans Farms on Dec. 31, 1986.
