Boston Market Names CEO

Boston Market Corporation today announced the promotion of Michael Andres to president and
chief executive officer. Andres previously served as president and chief operating officer, responsible for the operations of Boston Market’s
nearly 700 restaurants.

“Since joining Boston Market in May 2000, Mike has demonstrated outstanding leadership and a passionate commitment to Boston
Market, its people and its future,” said Jeffrey B. Kindler, chairman of Boston Market Corporation. “He’s also brought a renewed focus on
people development, quality of operations and unit economics, which has resulted in positive sales growth and improved profitability. Mike
clearly has the vision, passion and operational expertise to propel Boston Market into the next chapter of its growth and development.”

Andres is a seasoned veteran of the restaurant industry, with more than 18 years of experience in all aspects of restaurant operations.
Prior to joining Boston Market Corporation, Andres held senior positions at McDonald’s Corporation, including senior vice president and
chief operating officer of the Midwest division of McDonald’s USA, a unit of more than 2,600 McDonald’s restaurants generating more than
$3 billion in sales.
