As far as events that come around only once every four years—the Olympics, presidential elections—Leap Day seems to pale in comparison. “Leaplings,” or those born on February 29, have a special reason to celebrate the day, and several quick-service brands are jumping on the bandwagon.

Some, like Villa Italian Kitchen, are catering exclusively to leaplings with their promotions, while others like Dog Haus and Noodles & Co. are extending special offers to all guests.

Pizza Hut is doing a bit of both. While the brand is offering free carryout pizzas to those born on February 29, it is also hosting a massive celebration in Anthony, Texas, which is known as the Leap Year Capital of the World.

On the other hand, Arby’s is using the day as an opportunity to attract (or taunt) vegetarians with an alternative menu missing all the meat.

Arby’s wants to make (partial) peace with vegetarians by offering a special vegetarian meal on Leap Day.

Caribou Coffee customers who buy a beverage at regular price can purchase another of equal or lesser value for $0.29.

Dog Haus will upgrade burger orders on Leap Day to include an extra patty for free.

Hungry Howie’s is offering a large one-topping pizza for $0.29 when purchased with a large pizza with one or more toppings on February 29 and March 1.

Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen doughnuts for $2.29 with the purchase of another dozen at normal price.

Customers with a Leap Day birthday can get a free cookie at McAlister's Deli.

Noodles & Co. invites guests to “leap the line.” Guests who place an order online will receive $4 off any $10 purchase.

Pizza Hut celebrates in the “Leap Year Capital of the World” (Anthony, Texas) and gives away a carryout one-topping Personal Pan Pizza to those born on Leap Day.

Those customers with a Leap Day birthday can also score a range of deals at Schlotzsky's, including a free sandwich with purchase of chips and a drink.

All Toppers Pizza locations will sell large, one-topping carryout pizzas for $4.99, while also donating $2 to Feeding America for every pizza sold.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe's loyalty program members can purchase a 24-ounch classic smoothie for $2.29.

Villa Italian Kitchen is dishing out complimentary slices to leaplings.

Not necessarily in honor of Leap Day, but a deal nonetheless, Wienerschnitzel is giving away all-beef chili dogs with any purchase.
