Bruegger’s Bakery Café announced that starting January 6, its bakeries will offer a Maple & Sausage breakfast sandwich made with Vermont Maple cream cheese, French Toast bagel, eggs, and sausage. For lunch Bruegger’s will offer a combo of its Four Cheese Panini and Fire Roasted Tomato Soup. The limited time only “Winter Warmth” menu items will be available from January 6 through March 9.

The Maple & Sausage breakfast sandwich features Bruegger’s French Toast bagel, also available individually or in dozens to take home or to the office. The Vermont Maple cream cheese will remain on the menu as a permanent flavor in Bruegger’s cream cheese line up.

“Our French Toast bagel and Vermont Maple cream cheese quickly became guest favorites when we featured them a year ago,” says Philip Smith, Bruegger’s executive chef. “This year we’re bringing back the two favorites to create a sandwich that evokes a delicious platter of scrambled eggs, sausage, and a stack of French toast dripping with maple syrup.”

Complementing the Maple & Sausage breakfast sandwich, or any of Bruegger’s morning treats, is this season’s Golden French Toast coffee from Green Mountain Coffee. The Fair Trade Certified blend features the comforting flavors of maple and cinnamon.

For lunch, Bruegger’s new soup and sandwich combo includes Bruegger’s Four Cheese and Tomato panini, a grilled sandwich served on Bruegger’s bakery fresh Hearty White bread, and Fire Roasted Tomato Soup. It’s available for $6.49 in most locations.
