One carry-on that passengers flying out of the Cincinnati area won’t forget is a delicious meal from Bruegger’s. Today, Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc. announced the opening of its newest bakery located in Terminal 2 just past security at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Bruegger’s CEO James J. Greco joined airport officials for an official ribbon cutting at a recent grand opening celebration.

“This opening marks the first of several airport locations for Bruegger’s,” said James J. Greco, CEO of Bruegger’s. “We have a tremendous amount of brand recognition in the Cincinnati market, and now our guests can enjoy a meal whether they’re coming or going.”

Greco added that airports have become a desirable location for many brands. “Airport locations are an incredible opportunity to reach out to existing brand loyalists as well as introduce the brand to unfamiliar travelers who may be a bit more affluent. Guests can enjoy our hot-from-the-oven breakfast sandwiches, tossed-for-you salads, made-to-order deli sandwiches, coffee and delicious soups. ”

The new airport location has seating for up to 12 guests and will employ approximately 15 people. A limited number of menu items will be available for grab-and-go for passengers on the run. The bakery is open Monday thru Saturday 4:30 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 5 AM to 8 PM.
