St. Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and the luck ‘o the Irish is in the air. Bruegger’s bakeries nationwide will be preparing for the traditional green bagel fundraiser. To celebrate the fourth-annual event Bruegger’s will be baking green bagels and donating a portion of the sales to Feed The Children, an international hunger relief organization providing food and other necessities to children and families in need.
“Bruegger’s is a proud part of the communities we serve and annually we support a number of local and national charities through donations and fun events like our green bagel fundraiser,” says James J. Greco, chief executive officer, Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc. “Our green bagel fundraiser is not just a fun holiday tradition that our guests look forward to, it is a way to share the holiday and once again support the good work that Feed The Children does every day.”
Bruegger’s authentic boiled-then-baked bagels will be shaded green for a limited time only on Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17 at participating Bruegger’s bakeries nationwide.
