Bruster’s Real Ice Cream isn’t sleeping on PJ Day. Instead, the company is kicking off spring early with an appreciation event centered on bringing together customers and community members. For more than 25 years, ice cream lovers have been invited to don their coziest sleepwear and visit a participating Bruster’s location to enjoy a free small handmade waffle cone on PJ Day. This year is no different.
With festivities scheduled for March 9 or March 23, at more than 170 participating locations, customers have plenty of local Bruster’s from which to choose. Locations may be subject to change and Bruster’s recommends all customers phone their local store in advance to confirm participation and timing.
As part of PJ Day, some participating Bruster’s locations have also partnered with local philanthropic organizations to raise awareness and funds to give back to their community. Customers who wear their pajamas to their local Bruster’s, and purchase a small waffle cone for $1.00, will see 100 percent of the proceeds donated. Featured charities include:
Hometown Heroes
- Caelen’s Cause
- Caterpillar Ministries
- Top Soccer
- Mobile Meals
- Help For Kids
- Christanson Syndrome Association
- Greenville Rescue Mission
- Special Olympics
- Defenders for Children
- House of Hope
- Pee Dee Coalition
“We’re excited to start spring with PJ Day. It’s our way of thanking our customers – and demonstrating our appreciation – for their patronage, loyalty, and support,” says Jennifer Brinker, Vice President of Marketing at Bruster’s. “Together with customers, families and friends we’re looking forward to celebrating over the next few weeks.”
PJ Day is the first of many milestones Bruster’s has in store for 2019 as the company celebrates its 30th anniversary.
