Bruster’s Real Ice Cream is getting into the spirit of spring by featuring two “lucky” flavors. The limited-time offering pays homage to St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, with new Irish Cream and the return of a seasonal favorite, Mint Fudge Crunch.
“These two flavors, with a unique spin on our rich chocolate and mint ice creams, are a great way to celebrate spring and the Luck of the Irish,” says Jennifer Brinker, vice president of Marketing for Bruster’s. New Irish Cream features chocolatey Irish cream-flavored ice cream, while Mint Fudge Crunch pairs traditional Mint ice cream with gooey fudge and chocolate covered krispies.
This is the first wave of many innovative flavors being introduced this year. “New flavors are a key part of Bruster’s strategy to drive sales,” says Brinker. Year-to-date sales show a 22 percent increase at its locations.
These flavors are the perfect start to ice cream season, and as with all of Bruster’s ice creams, they are made the old-fashioned way from ingredients that are slow kettle processed and designed specifically to create the Bruster’s flavor. Its proprietary home-style mix is delivered fresh from the dairy to each store where small artisan batches are made daily by Certified Ice Cream Makers. All of Bruster’s premium flavors may be enjoyed in crunchy, handmade waffle cones, sundaes, candy-filled blasts and thick milkshakes.
