In 2019, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream opened in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Windermere, Florida, Provo, Utah, Athens, Georgia and Frisco/Little Elm, Texas. And this month, Bruster’s of Austin, owned and operated by Rudolph Maier, will open for business at 3303 Ranch Road, 620 N, Austin, Texas 78734. Maier’s first franchise is the company’s fifth store in Texas.

“As a Texas native, I’m proud to bring Bruster’s to Austin,” Maier says. “The quality ice cream, wide range of flavors and fun environment make this a great business to run. The company has a strong belief in supporting the communities around them and that’s something I hold dear to my heart.”

In addition to its 1200 square feet of retail space, Bruster’s of Austin features a deck and seating area with tables and benches perfect for relaxing under the shade of the trees in the late afternoon.

Serving Bruster’s January limited time specials including a Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae made with Double Chocolate Chunk ice cream as well as Coffee Ripple ice cream, Bruster’s of Austin is also preparing for its grand opening celebration which will coincide with the company’s annual PJ Day event. Available at Bruster’s of Austin on Saturday, March 7, 2020 customers can get free small waffle cones in their PJs.

“It’s a great time to welcome a strong franchisee, and new store, to our brand family,” said Bruster’s Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Brinker. “We’re looking forward to helping Rudolph and his team host their first PJ Day. It’s a Bruster’s tradition and one we love celebrating with our customers. We can’t wait to get to know the community in and around Austin.”

In addition to Austin, Bruster’s is also on track to open several domestic and international locations in 2020. Under the leadership of CEO Jim Sahene, Bruster’s will continue to stress opening one great store at a time.
