Bruster’s Real Ice Cream introduces the Mint Fudge Crunch Ice Cream. Part of the premium frozen treat chain’s Mint Madness limited-time offer, it teams fresh mint ice cream with ripples of fudge and chocolate-covered crispies. Ice cream lovers looking to take the chill off a cold March day will enjoy another one of the Mint Madness treats: Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream in a hot fudge brownie sundae.

According to Mike Branigan, vice president of marketing and product innovation, indulgent new flavors are one of the reasons Bruster’s average unit volumes in 2014 were up 7.35 percent over 2013. “Mint Madness gets to the very heart of the Bruster’s brand,” he says. “It’s unique, it’s fun, and it’s timely.”

Along with strong sales, Bruster’s is in the midst of a franchising growth spurt, having recently announced commitments for 15 new shops in the U.S. and overseas.

 “Mentoring Tomorrow's Leaders Today,” serves as Bruster's foundation and business platform. Bruster’s features 150 flavors of handcrafted ice cream, yogurt, Italian ice, and sorbet, with at least 24 made fresh in each shop daily. There are nearly 200 independently owned locations in 18 states and the nation of Guyana.
