Since 2010, Bruxie has been a household name in cities across Southern California, and has become the brand associated most with the sweet and savory concoction of fried chicken and waffle sandwiches. Recently the brand announced that it is eager to begin sharing their beloved sandwiches with customers across the United States and the world through the launch of its franchise opportunity.

After announcing its franchise opportunity in 2019, Bruxie has already signed multiple agreements for 18 locations across California, Colorado, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. The brand has also signed deals for an additional 24 international locations in three countries. With in-demand menu items and a strong franchising model, the brand expects to open 6-10 locations in their first full year of franchising, and hopes to have 120 restaurants open in the next five years.

“We know we have the right combination of delicious food and brand experience, and we want to share that with as many people as possible,” Vice President of Franchise Development John Ramsay says. “Our customers keep coming back because they know they’ll find the varieties of flavor they have been craving; we make food for people who seek out unique offerings, and we’re eager to grow our loyal Bruxie following.”

For the past several years, Bruxie has been focused on rebranding and reenergizing its concept. The brand refined its menu to ensure that each item was true to the brand’s character and its dedication to providing delicious food for its customers. With a solid concept and a growing demand for fried chicken, Bruxie is primed for success in the restaurant industry, and launching a franchise opportunity is set to take the brand to new heights.

Bruxie differentiates itself from other fast-casual concepts in the industry because each sandwich recipe was developed by co-founder Kelly Mullarney, a chef who trained at the Culinary Institute of America. Kelly utilized his training to ensure that each ingredient in the brand’s delectable sandwiches plays a role in the flavor profile. Bruxie uses all-natural, hormone-free chicken that has been marinated in buttermilk overnight. All sandwiches served at the restaurants are handcrafted and made-to-order with fresh ingredients to provide an outstanding dining experience.

At Bruxie, guests can choose from an array of delicious, hand-crafted sandwiches, including the original chicken and waffle sandwich, featuring premium, boneless fried chicken sandwiched between two crisp, savory waffles. Customers can also choose sandwiches served on a toasted Portuguese bun, salads and house made fried chicken. The brand offers an array of tasty sides such as seasoned French fries, fried pickles, tator tots, homemade coleslaw, and mac and cheese. The brand also offers an all-day breakfast menu.

“Our menu is full of unique and distinct flavors and our customers love the originality of our product,” Ramsay says. “Our model is successful because we are authentic to our brand and our customers enjoy that type of dedication to our product. Our menu items cater to all demographics and we have something for everyone on our menu.”

To augment the company’s growth, Bruxie is seeking qualified franchisees for multi-unit deals of the brand. Including a franchise fee of $35,000, the initial investment to open a 400-1,800 square-foot location is $600,000-$800,000.
