After successful openings on 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica and on the Las Vegas Strip at The Park on Las Vegas Boulevard, Bruxie has shown that with seven locations it is poised for expansion beyond Orange County, California, where it opened its first location six years ago. Leading the growth for the creator of The Original Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, both domestically and internationally, when it opens in South Korea in April 2017, is a new management team led by Chief Executive Officer Anthony Smith and Chief Financial Officer Scott M. Miller.

“There’s no denying the broad appeal of Bruxie’s original Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, which has already earned us much attention around the world,” says Bruxie founder and chef Kelly G. Mullarney. “The experience and wisdom that come with our new management team are integral to taking this brand to the next level.”

Bruxie CEO Anthony Smith is a veteran operations executive and a dedicated leader specializing in strategic planning, corporate development, revenue generation and recruiting, and mentoring staff. Prior to joining Bruxie, he served as president and partner of the award-winning Paul Martin’s American Grill concept.

“I have always believed that truly successful restaurants spring from a culture based around taking care of and developing its people,” says Smith. “Bruxie has always put the well being and the career pathways for all team members first, so I will be building on this as I lead the company into the next chapter of its journey.”

Bruxie CFO Scott Miller brings much experience to his new role for the growing company, with a background in finance, business development, regulatory, and multi-unit operations organizations that are invaluable to the future success of Bruxie. Prior to joining the Bruxie team, he most recently served as the vice president of finance for Slater’s 50/50.

“I have a proven track record of developing teams to deliver superior results,” says Miller, who lives in Capistrano Beach with his family. “I have my sights set on the future of Bruxie.”

“It’s always exciting to experience our brand through fresh eyes,” says Mullarney. “I am confident that Anthony and Scott will enable Bruxie to continue to evolve, grow and thrive for years to come.”
