Bubbakoo’s Burritos continues to expand throughout these troubling times, opening their 40th location in Lincoln Park, New Jersey.

The popular Modified-Mex chain was founded in 2008 by seasoned industry veterans, Bill Hart and Paul Altero. Their shared vision was to create something different; a build-your-own-burrito restaurant with fresh ingredients and a strong focus on customer service. With a surf & skate décor & vibe inspired by coastal life, every visit offers a short getaway. Since the first location in Point Pleasant, NJ, Bubbakoo’s has expanded significantly and did not plan on stopping their momentum.

However, when COVID-19 stalled the nation, founders Hart and Altero had to push back their expansion plans and focus on maintaining their current stores and the wellbeing of their employees. Their 38 active stores remain open for curbside pickup and delivery, with a return to normalcy almost in sight. Now, as the country starts to reopen, the expansion plans have returned to the forefront of Hart and Altero’s minds.

As the brand spreads to new locations, the values of Bubbakoo’s Burritos remain the same: providing great meals and supporting the local communities surrounding the store locations. As the new school year approaches, The Read it to Eat it Program will be returning to all stores, including new locations, to help incentivize reading by providing free meals to students.

“I’m really looking forward to getting started in this area and continuing the Bubbakoo’s tradition,” says Steve Harrison, Lincoln Park franchise owner.

The Lincoln Park location will open its doors for curbside pickup and delivery on November 2, 2020 at – 275 Comly Rd, Lincoln Park, NJ, and a traditional Grand Opening will follow in the future.
