BUILT Custom Burgers, a fast-casual version of The Counter, expands its North Carolina roots with the debut of its first stand alone location in the state. Managed and operated by partners Ravi Patel, Hiren Trivedi and Chintan Sandesara, BUILT Custom Burgers provides Triangle residents a unique “Build Your Own Burger” dining experience.
BUILT Custom Burgers invites food connoisseurs and Triangle residents alike to experience its unique take on the classic burger. Starting Friday, December 8, through Sunday, December 10, all guests will receive a free side of the popular garlic or sweet sriracha tots with the purchase of any burger.
Located in the new Alston Town Center at 5033 Arco Street in Cary, North Carolina, 27519, BUILT Custom Burgers is a fast-casual restaurant concept where the guest is truly in charge of their creation. Offering four premium protein options, five cheeses, 20 fresh unlimited toppings, 10 flavorful sauces and the choice of three breads or two fresh greens, guests are encouraged to build a burger or bowl to meet their individual preferences. Regardless of how many toppings you add, including premium ingredients like bacon, guacamole, caramelized onions, caramelized mushrooms or fried egg, the price per patty is all-inclusive.
With a combined 20 plus years of experience in the banking field, partners Patel, Trivedi and Sandesara are excited to fulfill their need for a more creative outlet by engaging with guests and working hands-on at the Alston Town Center location.
“We are thrilled to not only be the first stand alone BUILT Custom Burgers in the world, but also to bring this fun and unique experience to our local community, while exceeding guests’ expectations,” says Hiren Trivedi, owner and partner, BUILT Custom Burgers Alston. “We look forward to building relationships with our customers, and eventually expanding the brand across North Carolina, and beyond.”
BUILT Custom Burgers serves humanely-raised and handled, antibiotic and hormone-free, vegetarian-fed, 100 percent natural Angus beef, chicken and ground turkey, as well as vegan veggie burgers. All burgers and patties are hand-formed and cooked to order. Guests can pair their custom-built burger with tantalizing sides like shakes, crispy fries and garlic tots, and for the adults, a selection of beer and wine is also available.
“At BUILT Custom Burgers, we’re providing our guests the same quality of ingredients and freedom they’d expect from The Counter®, in a way that accommodates their on-the-go schedules,” says Jeff Weinstein, founder of The Counter® and BUILT® Custom Burgers.
The BUILT Custom Burgers Alston location occupies 2,300 square feet, marking the fifth BUILT location since debuting in downtown Los Angeles in March of 2013. In 2016, partners Patel, Trivedi and Sandesara opened the first BUILT location in North Carolina at The Streets of SouthPoint, 6910 Fayetteville Road in Durham, N.C. 27713, Space No. 2300. The franchise has five units slated to open in the first quarter of 2018, including multi-unit locations in Arizona, Colorado, Florida and the UK.
