Starting Tuesday, Burger King restaurants are introducing a $1 Crispy Taco nationwide. The Crispy Taco features a crispy, crunchy tortilla filled with seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese and crisp lettuce, all topped with just the right amount of savory taco sauce. Perfect as a snack on the go, the Crispy Taco can also be added to any meal order for just $1.
In a new commercial, the Burger King King travels to Austin, Texas, a city known for its tacos, to see if the new crispy taco has enough crunch to satisfy the local taco experts.
“We’ve seen success with tacos in our west coast restaurants and knew it was time to bring this west coast favorite nationwide,” says Chris Finazzo, president, North America, Burger King Corporation. “The Crispy Taco adds variety to our snacking items and truly hits the spot.”
