Burger King Corporation this year allows consumers to shop from home by offering gift certificates online, a move the chain says eliminates traditional holiday headaches like overflowing parking lots, long lines, and too little time. The gift certificates can be purchased at www.burgerking.com in $10, $25, and $50 increments and are personalized with a holiday greeting stationary. The online gifts are shipped within 24 hours of ordering and can be delivered to the sender or receiver by regular or express mail service.
"We know how popular and convenient online shopping has become with millions of consumers," said Sherry Ulsh, senior director of marketing finance and analysis for Burger King Corporation. "These gift certificates make giving the gift of our great-tasting food and promotional tie-ins easier than ever."
The gift certificates are also available at participating Burger King restaurants across the country for the holidays or other special occasions throughout the year.
Burger King Corporation, founded in 1954, and its franchisees operate more than 11,370 restaurants in all 50 states and 58 countries and international territories around the world.
