Burger Lounge, the 100 percent American grass-fed beef burger concept with eight locations throughout Los Angeles and San Diego, is unveiling a gluten-free bun and official gluten-free menu on February 1 for guests who have dietary restrictions or are looking to cut the carbs without cutting satisfaction.

With the launch of the menu, Burger Lounge is furthering its commitment to offering health-conscious items and options in line with its philosophy to redefine the quality of food in the fast-casual sector.

The gluten-free bun will be available for 95 cents extra with the restaurant's signature Lounge Burger, made with 100 percent American single-source, grass-fed beef; the Free-Range Turkey Burger; and the Baby Burger versions of both.

Diners can also enjoy the bun with modifications to seasonal specials like the Smokey Wild Boar Burger that is now available as part of the restaurant's wild game burger series.

For guests looking to go completely carb-free, the 6-ounce or 4-ounce handcrafted burger patties can also be wrapped in fresh lettuce wraps or served over the restaurant's gluten-free Fresh Vegetable and Organic Quinoa salads.

To cap of their gluten-free dining experience, guests can enjoy hand-dipped chocolate or vanilla Lounge Shakes and Mini-Shakes, made with Dreyer's premium ice cream; Lounge Floats made with root beer, Mexican Coke, ginger beer, or Fanta Orange soda; or Ice Cream Sundaes.

"While Burger Lounge was founded on the principle of always using 100 percent grass-fed beef, it's also been important to us to offer alternative options for guests who hae dietary restrictions," says Dean Loring, CEO and cofounder of Burger Lounge. "We already have great vegetarian options, and the gluten-free menu allows us to take our commitment to serving our guests to the next level."

The gluten-free menu and bun are available upon request at all Burger Lounge locations throughout Los Angeles and San Diego, including Beverly Hills, Coronado, Gaslamp, Hillcrest, La Jolla, Little Italy, Kensington, and West Hollywood.

It will also be served at forthcoming locations in Brentwood, Del Mar, and Santa Monica, all opening in 2013.
