Burger Patch will hold a grand re-opening Saturday, February 3rd, for its flagship location at 2301 K street in Midtown, Sacramento after a highly anticipated remodel to double the store’s size. The restaurant is celebrating their expansion throughout the day with special giveaways, surprise discounts and a free entrée for the first 50 to arrive in line by 9am.

By connecting the adjacent suite, the Midtown location now boasts seating for over 20 guests indoors, additional self-service ordering kiosks, and a new order pickup counter inside.  “After almost 5 incredible years in Midtown, we’re excited to say thank you to the community with a larger Patch and more delicious options” said co-founder Phil Horn.

The expanded kitchen will allow Burger Patch flexibility to introduce additional limited-time-items as well as the opening of their sister concept, Burrito Patch. After several successful sold-out pop-ups featuring their unique plant-based signature on fast-food style burritos, chimichangas, and more, the chain plans to add the menu in the coming weeks, exclusively available to order digitally through the Patch App and on popular 3rd party platforms.

Customers are encouraged to download the seamless Patch App to find surprise deals for the grand re-opening on Saturday. Plus, users will gain access to the best pricing and exclusive secret menu items while benefiting from thousands of customization options to build personalized favorites. With the included Patch Perks program, new members will receive an offer for a free Patch Burger and start earning valuable rewards for discounts and additional free items immediately.

Saturday’s event kicks off with a special pre-opening hour at 9am, where the first 50 arriving to order in person will receive a free breakfast or lunch entrée. The store will open for regular service for both in-person and online orders at 10am, featuring the full menu plus Burger Patch breakfast, available until 2pm on weekends.

Burger Patch was created in 2017 by husband-and-wife, Phil and Danea Horn, after adopting a plant-based diet together to support a life-saving kidney transplant for Danea, for which Phil was the donor. Since the first pop-up events drawing 4-hour lines, Burger Patch has become a veteran in the plant-based restaurant scene. From popular brick-and-mortar locations, including a recently announced spot to open in Oakland, to festival and event appearances Burger Patch has been a staple throughout Northern California serving their modern ingredients with nostalgic taste to over 500,000 customers including at BottleRock Napa Valley, the World’s Strongest Man Competition and inside Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center.

With a focus on delivering a trusted experience, Burger Patch has earned multiple recognitions as “Best Vegan Restaurant”. In 2022 the brand was honored with the Sacramento Business Journal’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Award and the annual Corporate Citizenship Award for their consistent work in contributing to causes in their community. Through their Patch Match program, Burger Patch has donated over $50,000 to local organizations as part of their commitment to “Feeding Kindness” for the planet, animals, and community.
