BurgerFi opened its first restaurant in Portland, Oregon, in conjunction with Aramark, a Philadelphia-based dining services partner. The new restaurant is in Roots Food District, a food hall inside the upscale Pioneer Place shopping mall in Portland’s bustling business district. In honor of grand opening week, BurgerFi will also host a celebration on Friday, December 6, complete with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and offer the first 50 guests in line a free BurgerFi Cheeseburger beginning at 10 a.m.

“We’re very excited to be opening our first BurgerFi in the Pacific Northwest inside the Roots Food District. We believe our chef-inspired menu serving the highest quality meats from ranches across the country, hand- cut fries and local craft beers will fit in well with the Portland food scene,” says Charlie Guzzetta, Chief Brand Officer at BurgerFi.

BurgerFi was recognized in November by Consumer Reports and other publications for their commitment to only serving responsibly raised beef.  Their menu also offers Springer Mountain Farms chicken, a proprietary, quinoa-based veggie burger named “Best Veggie Burger” in New York City by New York Magazine, super rich custard-based shakes and treats and more. The new Portland location offers 42 indoor seats plus access to additional seating in Pioneer Place.
