Bushfire Kitchen, the popular California-based restaurant brand, is set to open its newest location in Mission Viejo.

Bushfire’s mission is to provide customers with healthy, globally-inspired comfort food at affordable prices. Its from-scratch menu is made slow and served fast, using high-quality ingredients including fresh, local produce and premium-grade, humanely raised proteins.

“After years of persistent requests from our loyal guests, we are excited to open our first Orange County location and bring our healthy comfort food to the incredible community of Mission Viejo,” says Oliver Barwin, CEO of Bushfire Kitchen.

Known for its delicious health-conscious cuisine featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, this family- owned restaurant group has cultivated a dedicated following. The Mission Viejo restaurant will feature the same lunch, dinner, and catering menu as other Bushfire Kitchen locations. Their signature dishes include the Grass-fed Chimichurri Tri-tip, Thai Chicken Curry, En Fuego Burger, and their famous empanadas. Additionally, the restaurant will offer a large selection of craft beer, wine, and sangria.

The new location will accommodate 80+ diners both indoors and outdoors on the large, shaded, and heated patio, providing a comfortable dining environment year-round. With ample seating and a welcoming ambiance, Bushfire Kitchen Mission Viejo will be the perfect setting for families, friends, and colleagues to gather and share a wonderful experience together.

The restaurant is set to open in mid-2024, located on Alicia Parkway in the Mission Viejo Alicia Landing retail center, a Target-anchored mall.

The Mission Viejo location marks the group’s seventh unit, with current restaurants in Rancho Cucamonga, Eastvale, Menifee, Temecula, Carlsbad, and Del Mar. Bushfire Kitchen plans to continue its expansion in Orange County and throughout California, with additional openings coming soon.
