Trabon, a technology firm that helps companies better manage marketing and operational functions, announced multiple new hires and promotions.

In response to its growing online menu management business from clients that include Applebee’s, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, California Pizza Kitchen, McCormick & Schmick’s, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and other national chains, Trabon’s Restaurant Services Group has promoted key members of management and added four new positions:

Trish Balmos has been promoted from vice president of marketing to chief marketing and business development officer. She identifies and executes strategic growth initiatives and is responsible for brand management, strategic planning, business development, and oversight for restaurant accounts. Balmos, who joined Trabon in 2008, has 20 years of marketing communications and sales experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.

Colleen Standefer and Jessica Jimenez were promoted from account manager to senior account manager/onboarding specialist positions. Their new roles include assisting in transitioning new clients to Trabon, setting up new national accounts, and training new account managers.

Standefer has more than eight years of sales and marketing experience, including two years at Trabon. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Jimenez, also a University of Kansas graduate, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. She joined Trabon seven years ago.

Meredith Bushatz, who has worked at Trabon for eight years, has been promoted from client application specialist to client application/onboarding specialist. In her new position, Bushatz captures and organizes information about clients to determine their technology needs and then structures Trabon solutions to include features that meet them. Bushatz earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from William Jewell College.

Chad Beatty has been named director of business development. He brings more than 14 years of experience in marketing strategy and new business development to his position at Trabon, where he manages the company’s business development, marketing, and public relations initiatives. Previously, Beatty served in account management at a large Kansas City digital marketing agency. Beatty holds a bachelor’s degree in history and German from Northern Arizona University and the University of Konstanz, Germany.

Jenny Miller, a new account manager, has eight years of marketing communications experience. She serves as restaurant clients’ campaign rollout producer. Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Kansas State University.

Sara Scroggins, also a new account manager, earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northwest Missouri State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas. She joins Trabon with four years of event planning and marketing experience.

Melissa Bahr, who also joins Trabon as an account manager, has three years of sales and marketing experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and textile and apparel management from the University of Missouri.

Miller, Scroggins, and Bahr provide the high level of customer service that clients expect from Trabon, oversee production management, and help to ensure the quality of the company’s products and services. Day to day, they estimate, plan, and execute marketing print campaigns and support Web-to-print portals for Trabon’s national clients.

Trabon’s Strategic Technology Group announces the following promotion and new hire:

Kassandre Patten, who has been Trabon’s lead interactive developer for the past three years, was promoted to senior project manager for the interactive technology team. She manages a group that builds successful online solutions, from search engine optimization and social media to websites and mobile apps.

Andy Peng joins Trabon as senior application developer. He brings more than 10 years of software engineering experience to his new position. Prior to earning his master’s degree in computer science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Peng received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Wuhan University in China and worked as a civil engineer for eight years. He develops software solutions to meet clients’ specific needs.
