Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opened its second Nebraska location in the heart of downtown Lincoln on August 3. To celebrate the newest restaurant, Capriotti’s will give the first 100 guests in line on August 27 free nine-inch Bobbie sandwiches for a year.
The new restaurant will be the second Capriotti’s location for franchisee Corey Tallman. He opened his first restaurant in August 2015 and has plans to open one more location in the market.
With more than 100 locations across the U.S., Capriotti’s is committed to creating mouthwatering, homemade subs and sandwiches made with the freshest ingredients for an unsurpassed taste. Capriotti’s continues its 40-year nightly tradition of slow-roasting whole all-natural turkeys in-house and hand shredding them every morning for its subs. Its award-winning sandwiches include the shop’s acclaimed best-seller, The Bobbie, made with homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and a touch of mayo on a freshly-made roll, and the Capastrami, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and cole slaw. The concept also features a wide array of salads and vegetarian subs, like the Veggie Cole, made with hot vegetarian turkey, provolone cheese, cole slaw, Russian dressing, and mayo.
“The new Capriotti’s restaurant is located in the center of downtown, just steps away from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln,” Tallman says. “I look forward to bringing even more students, full-time residents, and visitors alike the fresh, mouthwatering sandwiches, salads, and soups that Capriotti’s is known for.”
“Opening our second Capriotti’s restaurant in the city of Lincoln is continued proof of the support and demand the brand has received from the community,” says Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “As a result of Corey’s experience, knowledge of the market, and dedication to Capriotti’s, he has become an invaluable part of the Capriotti’s family and we look forward to his continued success with his new restaurant.”
The new Capriotti’s shop is located at 235 South 11th Street, Unit A, Lincoln, Nebraska, and will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
