Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is partnering with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission throughout the month of February to feed families in the area through its Love Your Community fundraiser. From February 1 to 28, guests are encouraged to show their love by making a $1 donation during their visit to Capriotti’s  to help provide meals within the greater Las Vegas valley.

Last year, Capriotti’s donated more than 9,000 pounds of food to the mission and continues to give back to those in need in the Las Vegas area. More than 300,000 people in Clark County are food insecure and often face difficulty when feeding their families, but with the help of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission they are given access to essential meals. On top of the in-store fundraising efforts, the Capriotti’s team members will be on-site on February 12 in order to serve sandwiches to hundreds of people in need at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.

“Having grown up in Las Vegas, I am very passionate about giving back to our home community, especially through our continued partnership with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission,” says Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is a wonderful organization offering food, shelter, and service programs to residents in Las Vegas. One of Capriotti’s core values is family and we want to do everything in our power to support our extended family throughout the Las Vegas valley.”

“Working with Capriotti’s through their community-driven initiatives has been a great way to bring awareness to our core mission,” says John Fogal, director of development for the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. “We know this month’s fundraiser will play a fundamental role in helping to provide meals to families and residents in need across Las Vegas.”
