Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, known for its award-winning, hand-crafted sandwiches, has signed a franchise agreement to bring a total of three locations to the Nashville area over the next two years. The first location is expected to open in July at 111 Seventeenth Ave., in the heart of Music Row.

Capriotti’s is most famous for its 40-year nightly tradition of slow-roasting whole, all-natural turkeys in-house and hand-shredding them each morning to feature in a variety of fan-favorite subs. This includes The Bobbie, the shop’s acclaimed best-seller, made with homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo on a soft roll.

The new locations will be owned and operated by entrepreneurial group Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy, LLC. When on a trip to visit Las Vegas, the group fell in love with Capriotti’s flavorful sandwiches, and knew they wanted to bring the sandwich shop back to their home town of Nashville.

“We look forward to bringing the first Capriotti’s location to Tennessee this summer,” says David Bloom, chief development officer. “Nashville’s booming economic growth along with their deep appreciation for flavorful, unique menu items make the city prime territory to bring Capriotti’s delicious and high-quality sandwiches, salads and soups.”

Capriotti’s has more than 100 fast-casual restaurant locations across the country. Current growth has been focused on the Midwest, but Capriotti’s is working with new developers across the country. Most recently, Capriotti’s has completed the sale of the Reno, NV and Salt Lake City, UT markets to four new developers.

Capriotti’s will open 15 new shops in 2017 and will grow the brand to 500 locations by 2025 through franchising. Capriotti’s has franchise opportunities for single and multi-unit developers.
