Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, known for its award-winning, hand-crafted sandwiches, is continuing to expand its national footprint—identifying the Mid-Atlantic region as its next expansion hub. Targeted development markets across the East Coast include Baltimore, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia with room for 50 Capriotti’s restaurants to enter the market.

Founded in 1976, Capriotti’s is most famous for its 40-year nightly tradition of slow-roasting whole, all-natural turkeys in-house and hand-shredding them each morning to feature in a variety of fan-favorite subs. This includes The Bobbie, the shop’s acclaimed best-seller, made with homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo on a soft roll.

“Our proven franchise business model along with the Mid-Atlantic’s strong economic growth allows for tremendous potential in the area,” says David Bloom, Capriotti’s Chief Development Officer. “We’re committed to finding the right business savvy franchise partners who are as passionate about Capriotti’s as we are to bring this unique, high-quality dining experience to their communities.”

Capriotti’s is actively seeking single and multi-unit franchise partners to increase the brand’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic area including 15 new restaurants in Philadelphia, 20 in Washington D.C. and 15 in Baltimore. Currently, Capriotti’s has more than 100 fast-casual restaurant locations across the country, and will open an additional 15 shops by the end of the year with long terms goals to have 500 locations open by 2025.

To kick off the brand’s Mid-Atlantic expansion plans, Capriotti’s is hosting a complimentary dinner event at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 24 at the Stanford Grill in Columbia, Maryland. If interested in learning more about the franchise opportunity, please RSVP here.

With the top 25 percent of shops averaging $1.1 million and an initial average investment of $376,000 and high growth potential, Capriotti’s is a profitable and rewarding franchise investment. The brand is backed by a corporate leadership team that offers a 180-day business coaching program that provides significant support to franchisees for marketing, retail sales, operations and growth strategies.
