Capriotti's 'Saves the Bobbies,' Supports Susan G. Komen

The holiday giving season started early for Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, as it presented esteemed breast cancer research initiative Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southern Nevada with a $10,000 check. The donation was made possible by Capriotti's Sandwich Shop’s “Save the Bobbies!” program that ran through the month of October, wherein Capriotti’s locations in the greater Las Vegas area honored National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by dedicating a portion of their proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Motivated by friends and family of the Capriotti’s team affected by breast cancer, the award-winning sandwich retailer designed a special campaign wherein Southern Nevada Capriotti’s restaurants donated 25 cents from each purchase of its signature sandwich, The Bobbie, to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Through thousands of sales of Capriotti’s signature Bobbie sandwiches (homemade turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo on a fresh sub roll) wrapped in pink paper, Capriotti’s was able to raise such a generous amount toward breast cancer research and education.

Komen’s stellar research, education, and outreach on behalf of breast cancer awareness and look forward to working with them again in the years to come.”

Capriotti's “Save the Bobbies!” initiative ran from October 1 to October 31 at all Las Vegas–area restaurants.
