The company has experienced continued success throughout the year, driven by its new restaurant redesign and ongoing menu innovation. Enjoying a 3 percent same-store-sales growth for the third quarter of 2015, the company is on track for its third consecutive year of AUV record-breaking sales.

Captain D’s expanded the offerings of its 5 Under $5 Full Meal Deals during the third quarter and debuted a new meal featuring Lobster Bites, made with real North Atlantic cold-water lobster and coated with a fresh, seasoned batter. Another key to the company’s third quarter success was Captain D’s Curious George promotion through which restaurants featured limited-time Curious George-themed 3D KiD’s Meals and offered guests an opportunity to enter to win a trip for four to Universal Studios Orlando. These efforts resulted in an increase in sales and drove awareness amongst young families, one of the brand’s target demographics.
With 512 restaurants in 23 states, Captain D’s is the fast-casual seafood leader and number one seafood franchise in America ranked by average unit volume. Captain D’s recently unveiled a new design featuring a vibrant coastal atmosphere and improved the dining experience with new plate ware and silverware. Captain D’s new menu, featuring several new items, is brought to life in the new design with upgraded menu boards and also features several new kid’s meal offerings.
