Caribou Coffee has served premium cold press coffee (also known as cold brew) since the company's inception more than two decades ago. Today, the Minnesota-based coffeehouse is taking its original cold press to the next level with the introduction of Crafted Press cold coffee to its menu nationwide.

Crafted Press is handcrafted with cold press coffee, which Caribou Coffee has always steeped for at least 12 hours, and blended (without ice) with just the right combination of real cream and sugar. Then, ice is poured over the "secret blend" to maintain the frothy top, creating a smooth, low calorie drink. A medium Crafted Press has 100 calories. The Crafted Press drink is also available with a splash of vanilla, chocolate, or caramel or can be customized with any other favorite flavor.

"After launching an indulgent limited time only Creamy Cold Press drink last summer, we knew we wanted to add a permanent cold brew drink to our menu, but in listening to our customers we wanted to simplify it," says Michele Vig, SVP of marketing and product.

"We think that our new Crafted Press, with its refreshing taste and lower calories, is the perfect addition to the cold press drink list at Caribou and has the potential to become our guests' new go-to summer drink."

Based on size, Crafted Press drinks range in price from $2.59 – $3.29. Flavored Crafted Press drinks range from $2.99 – $3.69.

Caribou Coffee will sample Crafted Press at local sporting events and other warm weather activities throughout the summer.
