Caribou Coffee (NASDAQ: CBOU) is rolling out a national “More Bou for Your Buck” campaign, in which the company will offer any bakery item for the promotional price of $1 each to customers who purchase a large beverage at Caribou Coffee through March 22, 2009.
“We’re making a stand on quality and value,” says Caribou Coffee Senior Vice President of Marketing Alfredo V. Martel.
Martel explained that while the promotion applies to any large beverage purchased at Caribou Coffee, a consumer buying a large brewed coffee and a bakery item will pay only about $3. “They’re getting unparalleled quality at a price that is competitive with convenience stores and gas stations–while far exceeding anything offered at other gourmet coffee shops. We’re letting them know that they don’t have to compromise quality for value, they can have both at Caribou Coffee.”
The $1 bakery promotion will be available at all Caribou Coffee locations. All bakery items, including multi-grain bagels, breads, coffee cake, cookies, donuts and scones, are included.
