Caribou Coffee announced a new vegetarian breakfast sandwich addition to its menu starting Thursday, March 4. The new Beyond Meat Sausage with Egg & Mozzarella Sandwich is hearty and flavorful, built on an herb ciabatta roll with a plant-based Beyond Breakfast Sausage® Patty, cage-free fried egg patty and topped with a slice of natural mozzarella cheese. This sandwich is available exclusively at Caribou Coffee locations nationwide.
Beyond Breakfast Sausage is a plant-based patty made with savory herbs and spices to deliver the same juicy, meaty taste and texture as pork breakfast sausage patties, while being better for people and the planet. Beyond Breakfast Sausage patties are made from simple, plant-based ingredients, like peas and brown rice, without GMOs, bioengineered ingredients, soy, or gluten so that consumers can eat what they love while enjoying the nutritional and environmental benefits of plant-based meat.
