Carvel is introducing two new holiday-inspired treats, which include an Easter Round Cake and Easter Bunny novelties. The additions will join returning guest favorites, such as the Carvel Bunny Cake, available now through Sunday, April 5th.

Easter Round Cakes are 8- and 10-inch round cakes handmade with layers of fresh vanilla and chocolate ice cream separated with Carvel chocolate crunchies. They are topped with whipped frosting and decorated to show an Easter Bunny searching for carrots. Easter Bunny Novelties are designed to look like bunnies, and these handcrafted take-home treats feature premium vanilla ice cream dipped in guest’s choice of Carvel vanilla or chocolate Bonnet, topped with whipped frosting.

Returning this year is the classic Carvel Bunny Cake, which is made with two layers of freshly made ice cream separated by Carvel chocolate crunchies. Hand decorated and then topped with whipped frosting, the Bunny Cake is a delicious addition to Easter festivities.

“We’re proud to continue being part of family traditions and cherished memories with cakes and treats for every occasion,” says Carvel president Scott Colwell. “This Easter, we are giving guests more reasons to celebrate by introducing new treats to the classic Carvel favorites.”

As the first retail ice cream franchise in the country, Carvel has become one of the most recognized names in the ice cream industry. Since its founding in 1934, the brand has expanded its menu to include an extensive line of hand dipped and soft ice cream, take-home novelty treats, and premium ice cream cakes. All Carvel treats are handcrafted at local Carvel shoppes daily and are made with only authentic soft ice cream.

All Carvel cakes can be customized with personalized messages and ice cream flavors, including this season’s Nutella hazelnut spread flavor.
